This Privacy Policy explains how EditoHub ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use the website editohub.online and our services. By using our Services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, company/channel name and password (stored only as a secure one-way hash).
• Project content — footage, audio, images and files you upload for editing.
• Transaction information — records of orders and payments (processed by our payment gateway; we do not store full card/bank details).
• Usage & device data — basic log data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and reliable.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and deliver the Services.
• To process orders, payments and deliver completed projects.
• To communicate with you about your projects, invoices and support requests.
• To maintain security, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
• To improve our Services.

3. Payment Data

Payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. Your card and banking details are entered directly with the payment provider and are not stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of the transaction.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With trusted service providers (e.g. payment gateways, hosting) strictly to operate the Services;
• With editors assigned to your project, limited to what is needed to complete the work;
• When required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, hashed passwords and access-controlled file delivery. Your uploaded files are private to your project and are not publicly accessible.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services and meet legal requirements. You can delete your account yourself at any time — see Account & Data Deletion below. Invoices and tax records are retained for the period Indian tax law requires, even after an account is deleted.

7. Account & Data Deletion

You do not need to email anyone to delete your account. There are two self-serve routes:

• Inside the app: Settings → Delete account, then confirm with your password.
• On the web: editohub.online/delete-account — works without signing in to the app.

What is deleted: your profile, login credentials, project briefs, comments, uploaded source files and delivered videos, chat messages and notification tokens. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

What is retained, and why: invoices, GST records and payment references are kept for the retention period required by Indian tax and accounting law. These are financial records, not marketing data, and are never used to contact you.

How long it takes: your account stops working immediately. Backups holding residual copies are rotated out within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time by contacting us at the email below.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the platform. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
